Transition Problems

I am having a problem changing transition icons. When I click on the default AB for example to change transitions, the transition page opens but won't allow me time to choose a new transition. I get the arrow wheel like you do when you are waiting for a program to load. Can any one help please?

Hi Dave,
I am aware of several other users (including myself) who have reported a similar problem.
It usually happens with slides that are "heavy" on the computer resources: many layers, many masks etc. Not always, but it does happen from time to time. I'm not sure what causes this.

My workaround it to hold down the left button of the mouse, when hovering over the transition, and keep it held down until the right transition is chosen.

Another workaround that helped me, was to slow down the mouse speed, from within the Windows definitions.
In Windows XP it's done from here:
Start > Control Panel > Mouse > Buttons

Yes, I think your first scenario was correct. I reloaded a different slide layer with the 4 photos and all is well. Just one of those things I guess.
