Import part of other show
How do I go about importing part of another Producer show including all the layered slides and styles of that portion and drop it into another show?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Import part of other show
Greetings and welcome to the Forum:
Assuming you have PSP, NOT PSG?
What you want to do is "combine two shows into one".......
A PSP Project allows you to combine two or more shows........
So:
First open a new Project
Add your show to the project (Right click on the Project show Tab, to add a show)
Repeat this step and add your second show
You now have THREE shows open: (Three Tabs)
The original Project (No Name) Tab #1
Your Main Show Tab #2
The 2nd show Tab #3
Now it's just a matter of "Copying and Pasting" the groups of slides from Tab 2 and Tab3 into Tab Number One
Now Tab number one has both your original show plus the 2nd show
Remove Tabs 2 & 3 (Right Click each Tab to Remove from the Project)
Rename the Project
Save the Project............
Hope this gets you there.

Texan,
Thanks for the direction. That loud sound you heard was my hand hitting my forehead. I put your help to work and got it done right away. If you ever get out to Tucson, I owe you a meal!

Re: Import part of other show
Art,
There's a lazy way to do this to if you don't want to fool with opening up a "project". Open the show that has the slides you want to copy. Select the slides (multiple select by holding down CTRL as you click), right click on any one of the selected slides and click on Copy. Close that show. Open the show where you want the slides to go or a new show. Right click on the timeline where you want the copied slides to go. Click paste. Your copied slides appear. I use this method a lot when I find myself just playing around with a slide (not as part of a show) and realize it would work well in an existing show.

OK,
Now I owe two meals! Thank you both for your help. I hope someday I'll be able to return the favor down the line.
