Re: Proshow Producer validation failed SOLVED link to 3 file
You should be able to bypass the serial number and just update the 3 files per the instructions in the text file. Do it before you try opening PSP.

Re: Proshow Producer validation failed SOLVED link to 3 file
In relation to this subject, I managed to download the files from the Dropbox link. I renamed the old files by adding the prefix 'old' (oldif.dnt etc)
I copied the new files across.
Launched Proshow Producer, (my fully licenced version was 7.7.3527)
I opened a previously created show that showed all slides containing an image but any slides that should have had video clips remained blank.
I tried playing the show and it stopped just before any video clips.
Recalling the message about shows created in earlier versions may have problems, I recreated a small test show in the 'updated' version 9
The same situation remained. it doesn't appear to like video clips.
I'm sure my PC is up to the job, I have 16Gb RAM, a 2GB GPU and an 'oldish' Intel core i5 760 2.8Ghz processor
I have reverted back to version 7 and all is well again.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Mark

Re: Proshow Producer validation failed SOLVED link to 3 file
Solved.
I had a think about the issue and decided to try a different approach. I installed the trial version 9.0.3797.
I was advised that the trial version would expire in 15 days.
I created a short test show and it had the yellow bar across the slides stating that it had been made with evaluation software.
I then copied the three .dnt files to the relevant folder, renaming the old ones.
It is now working fine, videos are appearing and playing OK.
The 'evaluation' warning has disappeared.
For info.

Thanks for posting your fix, Mark. I've been considering upgrading to v9 and it's good to know what to do if I run across the same issue.

Re: Proshow Producer validation failed SOLVED link to 3 file
Hello,
It has been awhile since I have been on this site and I am having the same issue with a re-install of PSP due to a reset of Windows 10. The server isn't working and I saw you had a work around but the Drop Box information is no longer available. Heckydog, do you still have the work around? I also had a effects pack and would this work for that as well?
Thanks,
Tim Cody

Thanks a lot Joe. Last time I went into Drop Box it said the file was deleted. I just went back in and it was there.

I wonder if it's a good idea to show the 3 crack files on this forum?
Having access to the versions of Proshow Gold and Producer files also on the forum means anyone can install the software for free.
It also means whoever is kindly running the server can say to themselves why should I keep it running.
None of us liked what happened to Photodex and I'm sure one of the reasons it shut down was because.of piracy.

You can download ProShow Producer 9 which includes my registration activation bypassing the NO LONGER IN EXISTENCE Photodex activation servers.
This is not depriving Photodex of revenue. Unfortunately, they built into their software that the legitimately purchased registration codes have to be validated through their activation servers, but as the servers are long dead people who have crashes or want to migrate to a new computer can't register their software.
I also have all the styles and packs and extras which are all FREE to download.
I also have slide styles and shows I give away for FREE on my ProShow Producer support group.

My website is password protected to stop unscrupulous sites hot linking to my files.
I change the password regularly and include that in my group where I also give FREE slide styles and shows as well.
