It depends on just what your source of clipart is. Proshow can
import jpegs, PNG, GIF (although NOT animated GIF files) and
many others. Check out the photodex web site for a list of the
file types you can import. Now, if you have something like
Corel Draw that you want to import from, then you may have
to do some conversions but in general, a very large number of
formats can be imported directly. It does not currently handle
things with embedded alpha channels (hope they add that soon),
but many other formats are available.

Does that answer your question or did I get lost ??

Make sure the resolution is good on the graphics or they will get fuzzy in your show.

Good point on the resolution -- I don't think it will handle vector
clip art (it may grab an embedded thumbnail which looks terrible).
If that is the case, you would need to use something that does
handle the vector clip art (wmf is one) and export it as a large
jpg or png - something along those lines. Of course, if you
have photoshop or something like that, there is always the
Digital Juice "Juice Drops" (layered clip art you can pick which
layers you want). Ah, digital Juice -- now there is a dangerous
site !! (just as any of us that keep buying their "deals of the day"
or whatever - I just had to add a shelf to my computer desk just for
DJ stuff).

I went and checked out the websight for digital juice and they have cool stuff. How would you use the digital juice?

If you have PHotoshop, then the Digital Juice "Juice Drops" consist
of a bunch of psd files that you can open in PHotoshop. They will have
lots of clipart on multiple "layers" to make up a complex picture. You
are free to use any one layer, multiple layers, move layers around
to arrange the picture the way you want it etc. Do a search on the
DJTV (a button along the top of their web page). They have a number
of short video's you can watch where they show how to use lots of
their stuff -- typically oriented to video work, but many ways to use
their stuff with Proshow as well (there are a number of threads in this
forum on using Digital Juice stuff including a bunch in the topic
"Third Party Applications". I have not played with the juice drops
much myself, but I think "nannybear" (Jan) has done a fair amount
with them.
