Speeding up flash
Is there a good guideline for developing a flash show with producer anywhere?
My files seem to be very big and I can't see customers waiting for it to load.
Please advise.

Charlie,
I found the Flash files from Photodex to be too large as well. I now make my shows as either an AVI or MPG2 and use Swish to convert them to Flash. The output is just as good and the files are much smaller.

Bob,
I just tried this with MP1 and MP2
The ouptput from Swish didn't seem to be smaller.
Do you have special settings that you use?
I'd like the show to be as big as possible without getting too big....
thanks,
Charlie

Bob,
What kind of ratio are you getting for a smaller file size? Mine looks like it is almost the same as when I set Producer to go direct to Flash.
Thanks,
Charlie

It has dropped 100 MB files down to 25 MB ....... haven't done one in a while, but those are the numbers as I remember.

got ot to work thanks,
I had to laugh, I felt right at home with Swish crashed three times and Producer froze twice!
Got from 15MB to 9MB That makes a big difference inloading times.
Wish I could get a little larger image. I had to do MP1 MP2 was too big.
Thanks!
