Limitations
This is a difficult subject as there some external programs that are almost a necessity.
My list of necessary software items might include:
1) Photoshop (or any graphics / paint program)
2) Audacity (or any sound editor)
3) Windows Movie Maker (or any video editing software)
Having the show done only using Proshow tools would be severely limit the creative / artistic processes.
I do agree on the 3 to 4 minute time length.
I also am happy about everyone participating - we should see some fantastic stuff.
Just my 2 cents, ~al

Using Producer V4, PS CS5, and the Nikon D80, D90 & D7000 for all of my professional work.

Those 3rd party tools sound plenty fair to me. I just didn't think it fair to include the high end pieces of software that might give someone an advantage.
But then since I'm probably not going to be competing, maybe I shouldn't even have said anything.
I will look forward to seeing the productions from everyone at any rate!
Debbie
