Gee. It's like having your right hand cut off

Just give that computer a great big HUG, I'm sure it will feel better then. :D

If you have a cable modem, sometimes the modem gets itself "plugged up"--my description. Techs call it something else. Anyway, if you have cable, unplug the modem for about half a minute, then plug it back in and wait for all the lights to start blinking and winking at you. It may do the trick. Then again, maybe it won't. :(

What BarbaraC said ... in addition, if you have a router (which I
strongly suggest :D ) turn it off also then back on. I have had
(not often) the router and cable modem go off and sulk in different
corners and refuse to talk. If you do have a router, the next thing
to try -- can you get into the router via the web access ?? If yes,
that shows the computer at least has a working network connection
(always a good sign).

Actually we have a router and that is what is confusing. Mark is having no problem with his computer, and I have unplugged mine on both ends. I think I will run a diagnostic program tonight. I am also finding I am really tired. Moms' service went really well, but I think I am recovering from all the emotions, company, long days etc.... Just feel like meditating and sleeping right now. Unfortunately work gets in the way!!! Have a great day, all hugs Jan
