Eagle Scout Court of Honor
I need to quickly put together a show for my son's court of honor and would appreciate any appropriate music suggestions. I had a song about an eagle in mind, but since I am also putting together his graduation show, I have lost the thought about the eagle song. Would love to hear any ideas.
Thanks
Lori

Check out the current sale (ends today - but the "credits" you buy on sale can be used later) at Stock20.com
http://www.stock20.com/commerce/index.p ... page=index
One of the ones they have is "Soaring Eagles" that is a tribute to the famous "Eagles" band of the 70's (this is all Royalty free stuff). Also check out Smartsound.com - they have some good stuff although no sale right now (but there is supposed to be something starting Monday April 12). All of these sites let you listen to what they have.
These places also have some sort of "selection wizard" that allows you to select (and preview) different types, tempo etc. Typically Eagle Scout music is a tough one because you are trying to find something that the scouts will like ... without driving the parents and grandparents nuts. Kind of a narrow road there

What about Phil Collins' : Son of man?
Re: Eagle Scout Court of Honor
Just reminded me of a great one I used many (many) years ago with a slideshow (real slides, none of this digital nonsense) -- Sammy Davis Jr. "I've gotta be me" -- you can listen to a sample of it on Amazon ...

Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A." is some times considered a theme song for the Boys Scouts of America. I know that he sings the song live at most of the Boy Scout National Jamborees held every 4 years in Virgina. I saw him entertain at the 1993 & 2001 jamborees when my sons (both are Eagle Scouts) were in attendance.

Lori -
Here's the link to a show I did and Eric was an Eagle Scout.
The slide is between 3:51 - 4:01.

Sorry I don't have any specific song suggestions.
Good luck!
