I like SmartSound. You can be very precise with the length of the music that you use and with the 'Variations' and 'Mood' settings you can create something that suits you exactly. And with a LOT OF WORK you can take all the individual blocks that make up a song and make something unique.

Nice music but if I understand the site correctly one has to buy piece parts and put the songs together?

If that's the case the products wouldn't appeal to me since I don't want to get into that because it's time consuming and not what I'm interested in. I just use finished songs. I don't wish to get into music production/splicing/piecing/combining. etc.

But maybe other people here might like it.

You can spend your life looking for the "perfect" music for a show. Sometimes you find it, but more often, it is better to simply have a selection of good stuff to work with and work to merge the show and music. As one person had for their sig line in another forum:

"The search for best is endless ... instead simply find very good and get the job done."

I now have that posted above my computer :D That is very true here with music selection. The trick is to have enough to be able to pick something that works and get the show done.

You can't have too many gadgets or too much disk space !!

There is also this one
http://www.footagefirm.com/newproductionmusic.html?utm_source=NewMusictoSFFUsers1-2&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=NewMusictoSFFUsers1-2
This site will ship cd's to you and only charge shipping fee of $8.41. I have not personally used this but they send me emails all the time so I may give it a try.
