Yes, if I'm not designing, I'm composing, and if I'm not doing either one, I'm playing solitaire in attempt to get my wires untangled. :D

If you're not composing, doesn't that mean that you are de-composing ???

I'm already a compost heap.

So, Mona, you're a fellow solitaire junkie!

(New Yorkers, look for the soon-to-come Bloomberg ban on solitaire episodes larger than 8 ounces.)

Hellow,

I have read some posts in thi forum about copyrighted music, and uploading in Youtube.
I understand that to use a popular music on slideshow background is illegal.
I tried to upload that video on Youtube, and i get some notifications..
But...how other upload video?
exmpl: http://youtu.be/prjrD92q38w or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fD87UvqEj68 or even https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_L4B39vbUs
?
Why other can upload slideshows on Youtube with popular music in background? How they do so?

Read the description under the wedding video. There is a statement related to the music license and the slideshow maker.

Music licenses vary. If you want the one in the wedding video, try contacting the channel owner for further licensing information specifically related to that piece if music. The more popular pieces seem to typically cost more to license.

Can't say about the 2nd link as I was not interested in viewing the trashy video (based on the title). Next time please consider posting links to less potentially offensive examples.

Another suggestion, edit your post to be rid of the offensive show link. The first link example was sufficient enough to get the point across.

Thank you.

Ok, the first has a license.
The second (it doesn't matter trashy or not) - i choose for example, because author in destription wrote song name.
The third - no song name in desctription, no license, very popular song.. And.. everything ok - it is shown on Youtube. Why?

Some music is allowed if the user allows YouTube advertising attached to the video. I'm not saying this was the case here though.

YouTube offers some royalty free music. But I have no idea the scope of selections or terms of use. I rather have my own file to synch than just attach a piece without ability to adjust to the beat when I want.

It's pretty hard to know in each case exactly what the situation is as there are many more music options now than there used to be for synching to slideshows and such.

I've had some videos flagged even though I used licensed music. Those I've had to dispute, then all is fine.

Regarding the third video, any thoughts on it by anyone other than the owner is just a guess. I suggest contacting the channel owner and ask them if you want the most accurate answer. There are too many variables to know for sure when there is no information posted in the video or in the description.
