Slideshow for Wedding Reception

Has anyone seen a well done slide show for a wedding reception. Our daughter is getting married in August 2010 and I want to create a slide show to play at the reception....babies to engagment............but I can't get my creative juices flowing on this one. Need some inspiration! Thank you everyone and happy holidays to you.

Hi gand, I know Jennifer has a gorgeous wedding template on her site. She has made it simple to use, PLUS she made a avi file with step by step instructions for each slide. Give it a look here

Although this is steering away from templates, just an idea that might get the creative juices flowing : Narrate both bride and grooms life story and have a small kid dress up as a clown. Have this kid pose for slides ( pictures) with props.. Use text balloons that you stick on the wall next to the posing clown to emphasize certain parts of the story where props won't do it alone. I once did this for my youngest brother and his wife. She works in aviation, so when the story was about her job the clown was inflating an inflatable toy plane. The clown would hold certain items mentioned in the story, or make funny faces where the story would poke some fun . Stories about their misfortune would show the clown covered with band aids etc.. In between I would use some actual pictures from the bride and or groom.
From all these pictures combined I created a slide show with narration and some background music.

Hi, this is my first ProShow Producer video. I made it for my brother's wedding reception dinner. Prior to this, I'd done other similar shows for family and very close friends, in PowerPoint. For my brother, I wanted to do something extraordinary. In searching the net, I found Photodex and some morphing software. It did take me a very long time to do this show, partially due to learning curve; partially just due to me wanting it to be great (at least in my mind). It is a long-ish show, at just over 14 minutes. Perhaps it will help inspire you...
