How do I use templates in a slideshow?
I now know how to find my templates in Producer.
I know how to add photos to them etc.
What I don't know is now what do I do with them
Can I add the finished template into a slide, in an existing slideshow
Can it be saved as a avi file
I thank you in advance for any help you can give me

Re: How do I use templates in a slideshow?
If you know how to find them, and how to add pics to them I am not sure what is confusing you. If you are creating a show you can turn it into a project, add the template and cut and paste. An easier way would be to make a style - does that make sense? Cheers Jan
PS you can only make one slide a style, so if a template has a number of slides you would be making a style of all of them.....

Re: How do I use templates in a slideshow?
A lot confuses me <g> But in regards to templates, I will try to explain it.
Ok, say I am making a slideshow of a vacation. I want to use a template in slide # 6. How do I get the template into slide # 6? When I open a new template, it closes the slideshow I am working on. So I open the template and add photos to it, Now I have to go back and open up my vacation slideshow, where I am confused is how do I get the template into slide # 6?
Now are you also confused? lol
Thanks for trying to help me and I am sorry I am not making myself clear, it is very hard to write down what the voices in my head are telling me <g>

Re: How do I use templates in a slideshow?
I am sure Jan will put together a good tutorial
In the meantime you need to open a project. This enables you to have 'tabs' between open shows. Load your show and it will be on one tab, load the template and it will appear on another tab.
Load your photos into the template. Select all slides in the template, do a CTRL +C to copy.
Open the show tab and do a CTRL +V to paste into your show.

When you are working on a show, do a right click and copy your template and then when you are ready to work on your show, just paste it into the spot that you wish to have it appear in your show. You can do that all through your show; I have saved my show and then went back to work on a template, only to copy that template and after reloading my show, just paste it into my show in the spot that I wish to have it appear.

The boys are correct you need to make a project. I thought I could make it simpler but you can only create a style from one slide.....rats!! Let us now if you need more help...hugs Jan
