Hugs to you to Stephanie,

I appreciate the quick response. I seemingly downloaded it, but when I try to extract it, it says that the file is empty. I have not been able to open any pxc or pst files. I set it them up to open in Bridge but all I get is the Bridge symbol and nothing will open.

I'm using Vista if that makes a difference. Should I be opening up those files somewhere else?

Importing Templates Using Windows XP

Postby seektheburd » Thu Jan 31, 2008 11:43 am

Hi Lana,
I'm not on my desktop where I have Producer installed (on laptop presently) coupled by the fact I've only imported templates a few times but if memory serves me right after downloading template you will need to extract the file by right clicking folder. I usually just extract to desktop to later delete. Then open Producer to import the extracted file under the template section (import, export, etc). That should do it.

Hugs,
Stephanie

PS-I use Windows XP so there might be some differences.

Hi Stephanie,

As it turned out, there are difference in Vista. The template file is accessed via computer>cdrive>users>your user name>appdata>roaming>templates. I had to call ProShow Tech support. thanks again for your help.
