YouTube video to PSP

Postby SandyB on Sun Mar 07, 2010 1:49 pm

Working on a slideshow where I'd like to show a few seconds of a video clip from a show on Youtube.
Any way to capture the video so that I can use it in a PSP show? :?:
Thanks in advance,
Sandy

There are a lot of free apps for downloading youtube videos. I use Firefox and I have an add-on called 1 Click Youtube Video Downloader that actually will download in flv, MP4, or 3GP format. It adds small icons right below the video screen and it is as easy as one click.

After that it's just a matter of editing the file in a video editor.

If you don't have firefox, googling should turn up a number of options.

PSP 4.1, Adobe CS3 stuff, BT 8.08, PI 3, Camtasia Studio 6, Pinnacle Studio 14, Audacity 1.3. You can never have enough software. GA-X58A-UD3R mobo, 12GB DDR3 RAM, i7-920 2.66 Quad, HD4870 1GB, W7-Pro64.

Joe -
Thought you would know the answer! Thank you!
I use IE. Found YouTube Downloader, was able to download the file and convert it to a wma file.
Now for the editing. I edited a video clip for my husband's bday video but it's been a while.
Wish me luck!
Thanks again,
Sandy
