color transitions

On some of the featured shows...there have been a selectively colored sequence of photos that I find very interesting. How is this achieved? Is this several versions of 1 picture done in Photoshop first or is there some function or plug in for PSP?

thank you,
callie

In Proshow Producer 3 you can do it within.

I have not done colored sequence before PP3, I would think you need to use layers and use Transitions from the Color to Bnw or Bnw to Color. I am sure that there others here that able to explain how.

I am sorry I don't know where the link is at the moment, it may be a nannybear sample... It was of some berries. I understansd how to make my BW turn to color and vice versa(by seperate pictures and transitions!) But she had 1 or 2 berries colorized and the rest in BW and then it fadded into a few more pieces colorized.... I saw one with frogs too that had the same effects. It was called feeling froggy on the photodex site...I wondered if those selective colorized slides were done in PS and then used as seperate pictures in seperate slides?
