TUTORIAL: Advanced Layer Outlines & Shadows in Producer

Postby im42n8 » Fri Oct 04, 2013 2:32 pm

ProShows outline and shadow functions are woefully limited and inadequate, even in Producer. That means, we're on our own if we want more. So, I created tutorials covering introductions to outlines and shadows in ProShow:

• DOCUMENT: Layer Outlines (The ProShow outline features portion was published on Photodex's blog.)
• Video Tutorial: Outlines In ProShow
• Video Tutorial: Shadows In ProShow
Video Tutorial: Advanced Outlines and Shadows in ProShow

The "Advanced" tutorial builds upon the previous ones. In it, I present several simple techniques that, when combined, can frame your images in compelling ways without having to rely on a purely graphical solution.

Only your imagination limits the results. When you are done, save your creation as a style to quickly and easily re-use them!

I hope you find these tutorials useful.

Thanks Dale. Your contribution is appreciated.
It is a lengthy process and I imagine when I find some time to try it out, it will take me foreever. Certainly worth the effort.

pd

There is a menu in each of the tutorials that allows you to easily go to different sections of the tutorial ... or to go back to a section and quickly revisit what you've just watched. Hopefully that makes things easier for the viewer ... and "forever" won't seem quite so daunting. :D

Thanx pd!

You'll find, pd, that learning just one thing makes it easier to learn to the next, which does the same for yet the next thing. Just take the first step. That's all you need.

Dale, you've done a wonderful job!
