TUTORIAL: Working w/Rotate Center-Part 2 (IMAGES)
SLIDING PANELS - PART 2 (Images)
This tutorial takes Part 1 and adds images, making it a more useful example of how to create sliding panels. These image panels keep their perspective as they move away from or toward their shared rotation point. As the image panels move, the initial image fades away to become replaced with a new image. The images vary their rotation center while moving to keep the same screen location on which they have been tilted.
Knowing how to share a rotation center among not only the mask layers but the image layers that are being masked, as well, can provide some useful ideas on how to create special effects that you might otherwise have no idea how to create. Modifiers are not used to create these effects.
Enjoy and have fun!
The tutorial version with built-in menuing can be found here (html5-based): http://fpvp.wordpress.com/tutorials/

PS The FPVP Tools that were used to create this effect are now available. They make the process of creating such effects MUCH easier (since they do the necessary calculations for you). Check here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=22915 or here: FPVP Tools (Basic)
