"Caption Underneath Workaround" 2:05 min
There is no choice available right now in Producer to place a layer on top of a caption.
But here is a work around and you can do it ALL in Producer!

I must say that having "AL" share his cute TEXT show and "DLVERY" who shared the secret of making mask files with the screen capture feature gave me the push to do the tutorial.
You can also make png files from screen captures and insert them under a layer via taking out the background with alpha transparency. But I would not do that with any captions you have used a drop shadow. The png file / transparancy comes out really crummy.
I will have to experiment a little more with that to see how best I can make it work using alpha transparency to remove the background.

Re: "Caption Underneath Workaround" 2:05 min
I have watched this a few times now and what I came up with is here:
http://www.photodex.com/sharing/viewsho ... 6483&alb=0
the tutorial I watched was http://www.photodex.com/sharing/viewsho ... 6483&alb=0
My slide looks good but I don't know how to make the caption move from right to left Like Debbie has it in her tutorial. I am thinking the caption is locked into the frame I made and that's the reason I cannot get any motion with my caption. Can anyone help me?

Hi Lezlie,
I couldn't tell exactly what's going on with your example since the entire display is a static picture. As you say, there is no movement going on. If your example was constructed as described in the tutorial, then just make the layer with the words on it move from A to B as you would any image. The movement itself wasn't the point of the tutorial but just to show how the workaround caption image layer sits underneath other layers instead of on top like regular captions.
If this isn't something you know how to do yet, then back up a bit and review some other tutorials that cover the basics.
My tutorials are designed for advanced Producer users and require some basic hands-on working knowledge of the program.
I can't vouch for the helpfulness of the Photodex tutorials, but here are some that might help you with Motion 101 and other basics in the link below.

Hope that helps.
