Wow, what a great source for menu backgrounds and extra fills. Thanks for telling us about it. We should all contribute some pictures for others to use.

Here is another one I really like. BTW once you create an account (which you will need to down to get the larger sized images) please share some of your own images.

Robert,
I agree that sxc is a wonderful site. For those images actually needing permission--I have never been denied usage permission. The images are great resolution and most are uploaded with nice clean contrasting backgrounds for easy extraction. It is, seriously, one of the best-kept Internet secrets, in my opinion.

I had no idea these sites existed. Both will be a boon to me because I long ago ran out of my own photos to use for the display of my products. I very carefully read the terms of use and was happy as a clam (are clams happy?) to discover that I'm free to use the images to show off my frames. Whoopee!

Re: Free Images
stock.xchng is a good resource. It's parent company also owns the iStockPhoto site that it's associated with. The latter is better but not free and not cheap. Stock.xchng images are ones I've used in nearly all the seminar presentations I do on presentation skills and a few show up on my blog. The terms of use are typically easy--give credit and (sometimes) notify the owner of whatever use you make.
