Metis Crossing - 3 min.
A short show of "Metis Crossing" - a historical Metis site near Smoky Lake, Alberta, Canada
It was an enjoyable stroll on a sunny day. Photos of animal pelts may be objectionable to some.

"Métis Crossing shares the story of our evolving culture. Costumed Interpreters tell the story of life in this community during the latter part of the 1800’s. You will enjoy tours of our
Metis Museum
Historic village
Restored homesteads with farm machinery display and garden.
Nature trail tour along the North Saskatchewan River is very informative and breathtaking.
You can also enjoy a cup of tea as you cook bannock over the fire."

Very well done
the first 3 slides or so set up the story
Good compositions and exposures . They are all sharp, the music is so appropriate and I liked the pace as it gave me adequate time to really look at the images

Hi Linda,
I enjoyed watching your show. I like learning about Alberta's history and looking at photos to see how people lived in our province, back in the day. Métis Crossing would be a great place to visit. There must be a lot of interesting artifacts to see. The music suited your show nicely. Your photos were good, too. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Vic for looking and your comments. It was a very interesting place to visit on a sunny day. So
glad we finally took the time to visit it after driving by for years on the way to the lake at Lac La Biche.

Thanks, Linda. It was my internet giving trouble but I got it solved and was able to view the show. It was very interesting. Often we don't take the time to look at exhibits closer to home, but we should! Lucie
