Gibraltar Barn

Postby Shaker » Sun Nov 11, 2007 12:57 am

The show relates to some of the Allied forces who died in action inWWI and WWII.

Today is the day each year when we as a nation especially remember them. A memorial service is being held today at Gibraltar Barn which is the subject of the show. Some survivors of the SOE operations will attend, and the organiser may provide them with copies of the show.

Gibralter Barn was one of the first shows I remember watching after I bought ProShow.

I use Producer now. But I want to tell you that I STILL love this show, what it stands for. It's worth coming back to watch time and time again.

I only wish people these days would wake up and smell the coffee, realize this is happening again, and stop the plans to "wipe countries off the face of the earth" and the "take over the world" madness before it's further out of hand.

Thanks for sharing it again.

Shaker,
Thank you for posting this tribute. On this side of the pond today is veteran's day, in honor of all those who served in our armed forces. May we salute and remember those who served in our hearts as you have in "Gibraltar Barn".

This show deserves a resurrection because it's a fascinating documentary and well done. I was captivated by the story and wish I could have visited the place when I was in England many years ago on vacation.
