Re: What is this font?
Joe,
What can I say? You are the best!
The question I didn't ask was how/where do I get the background?
Evidently you know the answer!
Sandy
PS - little things mean a lot . . .

Re: What is this font?
I went to www.cgtextures.com (very cool site, btw) and found a rock texture, RockSharp0074_L.jpg, that looked like it might work. I then did some editing in photoshop to change the transparency, hue, saturation, etc.
The original texture jpg is 2240x1680 and I cut it down to meet the requirements for this forum, 600px wide I believe is the limit. I can post links to any of the original files if you want them. And the psd if you can use it.

If Sandy will be using the font in ProShow, it won't work. I still haven't seen an explanation of why we can use only TTF fonts.

Re: What is this font?
Sandy and Barbara...There are a lot of free font converters out there that can convert OTF to TTF...

Re: What is this font?
Wes, not only did I forget that fact, but I also forgot I've used one of those convertors. I wonder what other things I've forgotten that I really ought to remember.

Re: What is this font?
As it turns out, the font converter link posted in this thread doesn't seem to be working.

Re: What is this font?
By doing a search on "convert otf to ttf," a bunch of other sites popped up, the first of a number being: http://www.font2web.com/

Re: What is this font?
Thanks, everyone, for your help! This is such a great Forum that I was in a panic when Mike was doing maintenance.
Thanks Mike!
Joe - cgtextures is a VERY cool site! How you found the perfect rock texture out of 135 possibilities is beyond me.
I'll send you a PM with my email address so you can send me the psd file. After all, why would I recreate the wheel
when you've already done the work. Love it!
Wes - You answered my last font question and great to see your smiling face.
Hope everything is going well for you!
Best to all,
Sandy
