Removing audio from video
Decoupling audio from images:
Videos come out of my camera as AVCHD (.MTS) files. Audio is associated with those video files.
After I import these video files into Lightroom and then export to a folder, they become .mp4 files with audio still associated with the files.
I can bring these files into ProShow Producer and the videos will play as expected and the audio is there. I would like to remove the audio from these videos OR be able to edit it in ProShow Producer. I can’t find a way to do either. I see nothing in Producer that indicates the presence of an audio file, yet it plays the audio associated withe video.
How can I either get rid of the audio associated with the video or edit it in Producer?
Thanks --
Ralph

Re: Removing audio from video
Here is a tutorial to adjusting video clip sounds in Proshow from Photodex website. Proshow does not have the ability to remove audio from video. You will need to use an NLE program to separate the audio from the video.

There is also this same topic discussed here with regard to using a free program called AUDACITY

Re: Removing audio from video
One other problem is that I forgot how to have a show saved in Blueray quality. There is a tutorial somewhere on this site that explains how to do this. Any help will be appreciated, Richard...Age,80+
