EXE CD

Postby LEE7 » Tue Oct 15, 2019 4:00 pm

A friend of mine made an EXE CD of his 50th Wedding Anniversary Slideshow around 12 years ago, but has lost his original pictures due to
computer crashes, is there any way of converting the exe AVI etc to be able to rebuild the project & possibly improve the quality
of the pictures using Photoshop & restore the audio from a CD ?
Any help would be gratefully received.

PS I have been out of ProShow for quite a few years, glad to be back & looking forward to posting.

Regards.

Peter. :)

No, it's not possible, sorry to disappoint you.
You have to have the original materials: the pictures, music and the original show in psh format.

Hi
Thank you for the confirmation of what I thought would be the case.
There are programs on the net that claim to be able to convert EXE
to AVI none seem to live up to the promise.
Next step is to break the news to my friend.
Thank you once again.

Regards.
Peter.

There is always the option of recording the screen with a capture screen dedicated program. This would create a video file. But the quality won't be very good.
