Okay...I just changed it up and saved it as an avi file...when i went into psg I noticed the file format said "direct show"....when I tried to drag it into the show it now says "one or more files are not an audio or video file". I know I'm doing something wrong...just can' isolate what that is! I am soooo frustrated with this.

Okay...no I can't open and play it in media player...it says it doesn't recognize the application....the extension of the file ends in idx. is that what the problem is? The only place I can play the clip is when I'm in the Avidemux program. :?

when I click on the file type in properties, it says the file format is "Quick Find Information File".

I'm just not sure what you are doing wrong

What happens if you change the .idx extension to .avi by renaming it?

I went ahead and changed the extension to .mpeg and I can open the clip in the file I saved it in when I open it with Real Player....no problem seeing the clip I saved now....but the problem still remains is when I drag the clip into my psg slide it only plays the first frame of the video...not the entire video....

Kind of a basic question. Did you remember to set the time of the slide to the lenght of the video clip?

Okay, I just dropped the video clip into psg and the slide duration says 180.3 sec. (3 min), but when I play the show, it does the same thing...just shows the first slide. This video is saved as an mpeg file...so I don't get it!!! AGHHHHHH!
