Graphics Card
Hello All
I'm looking to spee up things when rendering/burning my discs.
Currently i've got an intel pentium 2.6 processor with 3Gb dual channel memory plus nVidia FX 5200 graphics card.
Any ideas on upgrading the card as to what to?
Any ideas welcome.
Thanks

Well, you could always get a video card with more memory. There are several 512mb video cards that have become very affordable. However, the bottleneck on rendering is the CPU, not necessarily the video card. I am not sure that replacing the video card will give you improved performance. Maybe there is someone else in the group here that can shed some more light on this.

I'm not sure if the video card will do it for you or not, I agree with Ivan about the CPU. The best way for me was to render to ISO and then burn from that (I use ImgBurn or Nero). After you have your ISO, its very quick to burn. Hope you find your answer.
