PS Ver 9 and .mov file

Postby Video1 » Fri Mar 20, 2020 11:12 am

Hi, Does anyone have any suggestions on why Proshow Producer 9 does not want to import a video shot on my iphone that uses the .mov format? Very odd even AVI file will not load? Thanks

Hi, not really sure what may be the cause, but thought I'd see if my old mov file would load in PSP9. It imported with no problem. I had taken a video of my old 1960's Magnavox playing an LP, lasted about 2 minutes, and had the mov extension. The file was already on my computer, I didn't import directly from my camera. Did you try importing directly from your iphone or had you put the file on your computer? Tried an old avi file too and that also imported with no problem (this file was also already on my computer).

I reinstalled PS9 and now it will import all video's. I had one question I find .mov files from my iphone to take a VERY long time to import do you have any ideas if I have a setting off or is it just my system? Thanks

MOV files are "huge"...I convert all MOV files to AVI before importing to PS 9. Makes life easier.
