Some people state that the server is back and Proshow is now working others still cannot register
The following allows you to get up and running without the server and downloading the crack file, as you only need 3 files.
Rename the following 3 files in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Photodex\ProShow Producer
all.dnt
if.dnt
pshow.dnt
Download the 3 files from this link
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/g06cdgzzgvxg ... 8BfQa?dl=0
and past into the above folder.
ProShow Producer will now work and you don't need to activate.
If you look in the registration there will not be a registration key listed, just leave it as is.

Re: Missing registration on Proshow Producer
Hello,
thank you so much. Are these files really safe?
Download the 3 files from this link
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/g06cdgzzgvxg ... 8BfQa? dl = 0
should i load these 3 files into an extra folder in Hardrive "C" ProShow?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Photodex\ProShow Producer
all.dnt
if.dnt
pshow.dnt
These 3 files are available as described above as "Adobe Reader" file, is that okay. I am not so fit in changing programs.
Best regards Dieter

Re: Missing registration on Proshow Producer
I have used them and have not had a problem. I renamed the original files extension .old so I could go back if I needed to.

Jeep wrote:I finally could use ProShow after deleting the file proshow.phd in the install directory. It runs fine since 3 hours and after 4 or 5 reruns.
I used the information Jeep provided - deleting the proshow.phd file in the c:/drive directory and was able to render a new video without errors. (I did, however, copied the existing PHD file to another location as a precaution - one that wasn't necessary in this case, but not a bad idea when trying to fix any problem by deleteing files.)
Thank you, Jeep

In any case, the proshow.phd file is rebuilt as soon as you run a new ProShow session.

Aparently the Photodex website and servers were finally shut down on 31st May. So much for the promise of "you will still be able to use the software".
You can download ProShow Producer 9 which includes my registration activation bypassing the NO LONGER IN EXISTENCE Photodex activation servers.
I also have all the styles and packs and extras which are all FREE to download.
My website is password protected to stop unscrupulous sites hot linking to my files.
I change the password regularly and include that in my group where I also give FREE slide styles and shows as well.

Before closing, Photodex promised that the licenses would remain valid in the future (the servers responsible for validation will work for an unlimited time).
Paul,
Try to ask Joshua at the Photopia forum, he must know more about this problem.
