Slide Styles - Montage

Postby Alan » Sat Jun 27, 2020 6:58 pm

Using Producer V9. Looking to apply a Montage slide style. In the slide style drop down I see that I have (210) listed against the Basic Montage option and yet there are no styles available. Same with the Complex Montage option (60) showing and still no styles available. Any suggestions?

Back in the day there was a free pack available on slideshowblog.com (now closed) which included "Chevron Chic" a themed style where you could include video clips in a montage. Any chance someone has that pack?

Haven't been on for a long while. Hope all the "oldies" are well.

Cheers
Alan

When you get to my age.....and all that. Found the missing montages. I had the number of layers set to 1 layer. Don't see too many montages with only one layer.

Would still like to source the Chevron Chic styles.

Cheers

G'day Alan

What version of PS are you running? If it's 9 you should have them in FX they are a Photodex produced style.
Make sure when you go into fx Slide styles you have all categories selected all aspect ratio all times.

PM me with your email address if you can't find them.

Hi Carl
I'm running V9. I saw a tutorial on YouTube (dated 2012) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRXfoAH ... rt_radio=1
that showed how to insert video into a montage. At the time there was a free package that included the Chevron Chic. Of course that was a long time ago. I've checked the FX tab and can't find it there. I'll send you my email address perhaps we can have a chat there. I'll put my mask on. Social distancing of course.....us Sydney folk have to be careful :D :D

Cheers

If you need any other ProShow Producer resources I give mine away for FREE.
You can download ProShow Producer 9 FREE which includes my registration activation bypassing the NO LONGER IN EXISTENCE Photodex activation servers.
I also have all the styles and packs and extras which are all FREE to download.
I also have slide styles and shows I give away for FREE on my ProShow Producer support group.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/338829398351892
My website is password protected to stop unscrupulous sites hot linking to my files.
I change the password regularly and include that in my group where I also give FREE slide styles and shows as well.
The login is Username: pigletpete Password: pigletpete
Link: https://reefanddixie.com/proshow/index.html
Photodex actually built into the software that uploading to the social media sites within the software go through Photodex then on to the social media platform.
You need to publish your show to a video file (majority of sites accept .mp4).
Also, using ProShow Producer creates quite a few temporary files on the Windows system which need to be cleared out regularly, otherwise ProShow Producer has a tendency to do "funny" things.
Kind regards

Hi Sydney Allan

How did you go with the Chevron Styles ?? I'm in MELBOURNE if it helps. And by some strange coincidence,,, I have same in my Collection !!
You are of course welcome to have copies : FREE . Just send me a link to your ,,E-mail adds Bingo,,, Yours.
I don't post much nowadays at (82Years young) but communicated with Cherub (Mona) together with (Mikey-not Mickey) Dale Fennimore and a couple of others
over time,, but only when I was in trouble.
I lived In Sydney for Three years way back in the early Seventy's,, ( Business! )
Firstly at Turramurra then at West Pymble
I know I talked to oobe once or twice!! if memories are correct??? he is on The Mornington Peninsular. Victoria,
My uses of Proshow go back to VERSION THREE!!! But that does not mean I am perfect at this Software,,, just a reasonable Driver still making mistakes.

Trust you are well and continue to be A Proshow Enthusiast while still vertical :D

Best Regards to all on this super Forum.
