share places to be !
I thought; Why not share Proshow goldmine adresses now Photodex as a company is gone" ??
We all know grandpaJanek with his great free stuff ! ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCy7k2u ... Y9Jl_8qDBg )
thanks Grandpa..... !!
But there's stil a lot more PS stuff to find legal and for free and to buy!
Now that Proshow 9.0 is no longer supported, the interest in this great program will slowly disappear, I think.
But still......
I found an other nice place to be : MotionVI there site http://www.motionvi.com/ is gone
I Never heard of them in all the years using PSP
But the company itself seems to be gone..... ,no working links anymore....
The Motion VI youtube channel is still there and there are lots free tutorials, slide's templates etc. great !
link : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqSMvN ... 5cwd3ISMMg
When you want to download use the password is MVPSH9X19FD Theuy give the password themselfes on their channel
so i am free to distibute i think......
In the years I bought a lot of PS stuff, an strange to know that the program is gone but still a lot extra's to buy.
If you also want to share great places where's you still can find PS material let us know here !
Proshow is still my favorite foto presentation program and is is a pitty that the support is gone.....
greetings from Holland.

The forum is almost out of life I think, too bad because there are still enough PSP users.
We just go on and enjoy all the beauty. There is still plenty to learn.
greetings and a nice weekend

Hello! I'm another that tends to be a silent viewer at times. Thank you for your post. I checked out the MotionVI YT channel, there's a lot of good info-tutorials there. I also buy templates, etc. from sites still selling them every so often. For me, PSP is not going to go away anytime soon. Thanks again, appreciate your post.

Like i said,
Even if Proshow is no longer supported or published, you can still enjoy what you find on the internet.
Thanx to : CunCun / danhpham2310, Here another nice site :
https://danhpham37.blogspot.com/search/label/Project%20Proshow
https://www.youtube.com/c/CunCunChannel/videos
There are lots of nice presentations for free and by examining how these are built you will learn a
lot and get enough inspiration to get started.
Good luck and thanx danhpham.

Re: share places to be !
Riekelt.
I think we have a problem with Covid-19 here that is highly rampant in lots of places in the world.
There are the elections in the USA.
In the Netherlands, you have still problems with Covid-19.
I do not think that Proshow is gone; we are dealing here with the New-Normal.
I still use Proshow most of the time and make nice short video's to be put on mobile phones.
We have to stay positive!
Stay safe Riekelt and use a face mask!
Greetings from Sydney.

Re: share places to be !
Hello Mokummer / Bill
Nice to hear from you again.
That's right, here in the Netherlands we are in the second week of the second covid-19 wave.
In itself not to complain here with the half lockdown.
All cinemas, restaurants, museums, etc. are closed but shops are still open.
We keep our 1,5 mtr max 2 person, and there is strongly advised to wear face masks and to
quarantine preventively if necessary. An app has been released for this.
But when I look at the rest of Europe, we have nothing to complain about.
Here on the PSE forum I notice a lot of daily visitors but not many reactions to each other or to register as a member.
The title " A Place to Learn - A Place to Share " is my reason to come here.
perhaps time for the "new normal Proshow Enthousiast Forum "
I notice too that PSP is certainly still alive but it seems to differ a lot per country / continent.
Beautiful shows are still being made and I really enjoy someone else's work.
You can see that there is still a lot of passion and love making PSP shows.
PS 9.0 with lots of extra's f.i. nice to make a quiz for the visitor or school students or just for fun...
In short, the lockdown provides enough opportunity to make and research fun things.
I use proshow in my work here in a small historical museum in Urk.
Until the Second World War Urk was an island in the Zuiderzee ( salt water ) , now it is called IJsselmeer (fresh water ).
And there is plenty to tell and show about the history of past and what become of Urk at the present.
Did you know as a "Mokummer" that Urk was bought by Amsterdam (1660)
https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urk
But just enough as far as Dutch history is concerned.
The new part I want to learn with PS is the use of a "presenter" , remote control also in ProShow.
You see them a lot in powerpoint presentations.
I think such a device is necessary to give a good presentation.
But if you use one, do it right ...
So, still working on new things even though ProShow is no longer supported.
Mokummer, take good care of yourself and the other.
Nice to hear from you again.

Re: share places to be !
Riekelt...if I may go off-topic for a moment, I read with interest your post above about Holland. There is a travel you tuber I follow...Harald Baldr...and I always enjoy most of his world trips. He was in the Netherlands not long ago and he put up some nice videos of the beautiful canals in Amsterdam and tours of an old ship and hotel among other visits. What a beautiful country! On to PSP, thanks to all for the links to various shows and tutorials. I am still in the learning phase, and love the program. To me it's great fun, the learning experience. Always something new. My first purchase was PSP version 7. I purchased the boxed CD and manual which I find easier to work with than a video for the most part, that's just me. Just easier to follow the manual and make notes there. I upgraded eventually to 9.0. Someone mentioned on the board a while back now that for those learning, getting the knack of working with keyframes and masks was one of the most important things. I'm sort of getting the keyframe thing, but not working with masks. That's my next thing to try. I've used Paint Shop Pro and a very old version of Photoshop for many years now, and use masks quite a bit in Paint Shop Pro, so the concept isn't anything new, it's just how to use them in PSP. Grandpa Janek is my favorite go-to on YT for shows and tutorials and I've gotten some insight using masks from his shows.
Cheers and have a great day!
