Hi Jan,
That was great. How in the world did you get that shot? I would love info on the effects you used.

Hunny, Notice that you are now "ProShow Enthusiasts MVP" with a Forum Donor sign.....
Anyway, my baby sister lives out in the woods and has become Snow White. Her deck is surrounded by huge trees and a wide railing all the way around. She used to have bird feeders and put out peanuts but that brought the rats so now she "hand feeds" them on the railing in the morning and at night. The chickadees and Pine Siskins will sit right on your hand. The others sit on the railing so I set up my tripod about a foot from there and zoom in. The others are juncos, nuthatches and little brown squirrels. I know I could get really fancy like Jeep but just don't have the time so I "cheat" and use help. Barbara C turned me on to the kaleidoscope Action, Bob showed me how great Lucis Art Plugin was and I snagged it before they discontinued it. There are lots of great actions and plugins out there and I plan to abuse all of them. Ackvis Sketch is pretty cool as well.
Thanks for watching!! At work so I better go do some!!! hugs Jan

Great show as always Jan .......... nice effects and photo manipulation. Indeed a "bird in the hand" is a show well done by the Nannybear.

I've got to agree with Iris....a great shot to start with. I can bet my shirt that as soon as i get my camera out the bird flies out of shot.
A great show....especially loved the kaleidoscope effect. I'm going to have to mess around with that effect myself.
And congrats on the star.....got a few more posts until i get one

Hello Jan
thats a cracker of a show -- just with one picture - what imagination you have let allow expertise.
The more I look at shows like that I wonder if I will ever catch up. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers Tosh

Nice job, Jan
I like the effects. Don't know how you did the kaleidoscope with rectangular overlapping images but it was pleasantly different. Not the ususal pie shaped wedges.

Thanks Tosh! I can't hold a candle to some, especially Jeep!!! He is the amazing guru of all shows. Hope he puts one in...LOL
Jim - thanks so much! I am not sure how I did that but I liked it so I kept it. I think I missed a few steps playing with the action and that was what we got..... sometimes mistakes are the best thing I just wish I would record tem so I could do it again.......
hugs to you both!! J

Re: June Challenge - Nannybear's Entry
Jan, I'm so pleased to have played a small part in this very creative entry. Gee, I even was in the credits!
Is it possible that when you created the kaleidoscopic image Jim is referring to that you flattened the layers in Photoshop? It would turn the image opaque, and then if you reduced its opacity in Producer, you might get that square effect.
Anyway, in the end, it hardly matters. Whatever the mistake, I sure as heck saw only good stuff!
