Video playback of slide leaks after rendering to MP4

Postby tvogel » Tue Jan 23, 2018 10:59 am

Hi again,

I added a video file to one of my slides. If I play the show back everything is ok. After rendering the whole show to MP4 the video playback in the slide leaks just at the moment when the fade to the next slide beginns. So at this particular frame the rendered video jumps back a few frames.

Any ideas?! ThanX. *:o(

Do you have a "fade" transition between the two slides ?

So, it is possible that that transition causes you problems. Have you tried a 0 (zero) time transition?

Alternatively, if you absolutely must have a fade transition, you may use this trick:
Take a screenshot of the first frame of the video, and insert it as an additional slide, in front of the video clip.
Use the fade transition in front of this additional slide, and use a cut (0 time) transition between the additional slide and the video clip.

SOLVED - Video playback leaks after rendering to MP4

Postby tvogel » Sun Mar 11, 2018 3:38 pm

I found out what the problem was!

I faded the video files out at the end and therefore I used the built in transition of the ending keyframe.

I changed that back to a cut and added another keyframe at the end instead. On this new keyframe I put the opacity down to zero so it fades out again.

Now everything is fine and I´m very lucky! :D
