Cannot apply slide styles

I am running PSP 8.0.3648 on Windows 11.

I am working on a slide show and every time I go to a slide, choose slide style and apply a style (by clicking Apply Style) the dialog box indicates that the style has been applied. However, when I then click the Ok button I get the blue spinner and then when I click on the X I get "Proshow is not responding" and I have to choose the option "Close the program".

Has anyone else had this issue and have they found a resolution?

Lijkt op een kleine storing die opniewuw instaleren vraagt. Misschien de kans opm over te stappen op de 9.0 versie nu deze vrij gegeven is. Echt een verbetering met 8.0
Voor info over 9.0 voldoende op dit forum....

Zo niet toch 8.0 opnieuw instaleren met de eigen key ?
Looks like a minor glitch asking to reinstall. Maybe the chance to switch to the 9.0 version now that it has been released. A real improvement with 8.0
For info about 9.0 enough on this forum....

If not, reinstall 8.0 with your own key?

I have gone with the option to upgrade to version 9 and now all is working.
