My old Proshow Gold 7

My installed Proshow Gold 7 keeps crashing down when starting a new project. I upload about 50 images and a music clip and after few minutes it crashes down and stops working.
any idea why and how to fix it?

I am thinking of a new slideshow program, but I don't like the idea of a monthly subscription like the Photopia.
Any ideas of a program to buy which is like the Proshow in term of quality?

ProShow is the best. I've used it for years. Over time I've tried other software but none of it betters Proshow.

Recently I tried SmartSHOW 3D by AMS Software and am very impressed by what it includes and can do. It doesn't beat ProShow but having now used it I bought it and two other AMS products to compliment it - PhotoWorks and PhotoGlory. There are trial versions of their software for you to try out.

I have no connection with AMS other than being a very satisfied customer. I highly recommend giving them a try.
