Turning up your frames a notch
Staring into my coffee this morning and thinking about frames, which is something I do an awful lot,
I realized that I've been using a simple framing trick for years, and yet, I never thought to share the knowledge.
Sure, it uses masks, which are the bane of many ProShow folks' existence, but how about a step-by-step tutorial?
Wait a minute! How about a free slide style to do it for you?
A ProShowThink how-to: Framing 101
Happy Saturday!

Re: Turning up your frames a notch
Hi Barbara.
Thank you sharing with us all the knowledge and tricks with Proshow.
I'm not as active as I used to be, but still us the program to make some shows for my own entertainment.
For the average enthusiast there are too many options with Proshow, however for the pro's it's a smorgasbord.
Greetings,
Bill

Yes, it's definitely a smorgasbord for a pro, but this doesn't mean the "average" user can't move on up the ladder. What may happen to a lot of people is that they see the whole thing all at once rather than the smaller, separate pieces. I've mentored a few, not in learning Producer from the ground up, but in helping them achieve this small vision or that. They manage it, and in so doing, gain confidence in their ability to do more. Because of the way the software has been programmed, it's easy to learn it piecemeal and in no particular order.
However, it all depends on a person's goals. Full knowledge of the software isn't necessary, and the busy person doesn't need to invest huge amounts of time in learning before creating a great show. That's the wonderful thing about both Gold and Producer.
