Once again, thanks everyone for the nice comments.
And sorry it took so long to load. I forget about the DJ stuff being so large.

Cute pictures & show, HunnyB.
I, too, thought at first you'd adopted a little boy until a few slides in and it 'clicked' that the DOG was in every picture!

Thanks guys. I figured the first photo would have given away who
Rudee was.

P.S. Rudee is in big trouble. I just noticed the wood blinds in the living
room are shredded ---- daddy is going to be mad.

Hey, I have a 15 week old puppy - don't tell me about shredded !!
Actually, letting them chew on beef rib bones that have had most of the
meat taken off seems to have controlled most of the chewing on un-approved
objects (the key word here being "most"). We cook them then thoughtfully
eat most of the meat so they don't get too much meat
Also, don't forget that wonderful spray called "bitter apple" - doesn't last long,
but they really hate it. http://www.grannicks.com/
Many pet stores carry it. I have heard of dogs that were not discouraged by
it, but mine really don't like it.

Mikey, I will certainly try that spray. It is weird that the only items
in the house that he has destroyed are the blinds. I think he was trying
to get outside. He has been scratching at the back door too, I noticed.
Haven't told the hubby about that yet. I am thinking about a doggie gate
that will keep him away from the blinds again - and definetly getting a "chew" toy of
some sorts. May even get a wire kennel for when I am away - which is not very much.
He is such a laidback well mannered dauchand, there had to be an emotional reasoning
behind destroying only the blinds. My son is ready to adopt Rudee if I see I can not
handle him. I can't afford for an animal to destroy my home. But, I really believe that
with a little effort on my part, Rudee is going to stay. I am falling in love with him. It's funny how I
already completely know his personality and habits. He's da man.
